ZAGREB (Croatia), November 4 (SeeNews) – Croatian hotel operator Imperial Riviera [ZSE:HIMR] said its revenue and EBITDA for January-September 2021 rose compared to both the same period of last year and the first nine months of pre-pandemic 2019.
The company’s total revenue for the first nine months of this year amounted to 273.8 million kuna ($42.1 million/ 36.4 million euro), up 188% year-on-year and 11.6% higher compared to the corresponding period of 2019, Imperial Riviera said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse last week.
EBITDA totalled 154.4 million kuna in the period under review, up 377% on the year and 40% higher compared to January-September 2019.
The number of tourist overnights spent at Imperial Riviera’s accommodation facilities in the nine months through September 2021 was 753,000, down 11% compared to like period of 2019 but the average overnight prices were 30% higher than in 2019, the company said in a separate statement on Wednesday.
The company’s shares traded at 835 kuna on Thursday afternoon on the Zagreb bourse, down 2.91% from their last closing price.
