Chain Hard Rock Hotels is going to open a hotel that will be located in the heart of Puerto Banús on the Costa del Sol. Specifically, the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella, name that the accommodation has received, it will be located where the Hotel Andalucía Plaza was previously, which will be subjected to a renewal process and will have 384 rooms, including 50 suites.
Last June, Bain Capital Credit y Stoneweg Hospitality, through its joint venture hotel company, they bought the 400-room H10 Andalucía Plaza complex located in Marbella. In this sense, the hotel will continue to be operated by H10 Hotels until the end of 2021, but in June 2022 renovations are expected to take place of the property to become a new Hard Rock.

The hotel will have six gastronomic establishments. On the top floor, a rooftop terrace will house a VIP bar and a infinite pool with wide views of the Nueva Andalucía Beach. It will also have a spa and wellness center with a heated indoor pool, a gym and a Rock Spa with six treatment rooms, a sauna, a relaxation room and a space for meetings and events.
Artwork in the hotel’s rooms and public spaces will reflect the distinctive aesthetic of Hard Rock’s design and showcase the artistic culture of Spain. The chain is “designed to create an authentic guest experience that echoes both the hotel’s location and Hard Rock’s renowned collection of memorabilia, which features more than 86,000 items.”
