Energy saving

Between 14% and 15% of the running costs of a hotel relate to energy consumption. In some cases, it can even shoot up to 25% when power consumption is excessive. Energy expenses represent the second largest expense behind employee payroll. ActivoHotels offers advisory services to its clients with measures to achieve significant energy and economic savings regarding the use of renewable energy, lighting, air conditioning, water, kitchen appliances and laundry. Financing

We have several financing vehicles for the hotel sector, even in the current difficult environment caused by Covid 19. The hotel sector is going through bad times, mainly due to hotels having to stay closed and right now the immediate future does not point to the tourism market reactivating and being able to generate income in 2020, while expenses including employees, taxes, rent and mortgages continue being incurred. To help in these difficult times ActivoHotels can offer financing with different formulas through a fund:

Data security

For the hosting and exchange of confidential data, ActivoHotels offers its clients a Private Cloud Server in a highly secure data center in Europe complying with the RGPD regulations (General Data Protection Regulation) that regulate the protection of the data of citizens of the European Union. In this way we maintain 100% control of who has access to the data room for each hotel property. Each seller and buyer can download and upload documents with their own password (or ActivoHotels will do it for you for free) and has access to only their own space with their own files.

All representatives are native to their region and are hospitality experts with direct contact to hotel owners who are interested in selling their businesses. On this way ActivoHotels is able to offer purchasing opportunities and management of hotel properties before they become publicly available on the market.

Activo Hotel Assets

At ActivoHotels we offer hotels for sale mainly in Spain, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, Cyprus, Turkey and the Caribbean from 10 to 1,000 rooms, almost all in beach front and with 3, 4 or 5 stars. Most do not have an operator. If an investor needs an operator, we can offer several hotel chains with great promise as well as well-known private label companies.

For confidentiality reasons we do not publish offers on our website. Some of our featured hotel assets for sale can be seen at Linkedin. Our portfolio contains various hotel assets that are not on the market and we can only serve direct buyers or their mandated agents. Ask us and we will present you the best opportunities.

This change is motivated by the outstanding mayority of specific requests related to hotel assets for sale, lease and management, especially in Spain and Greece. Due to this demand we extended our offers – among our wide-ranging portfolio in Spain and Greece – on the basis of a network with our representatives in Portugal, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, Italy and Malta.

Our portfolio mainly includes large beach front hotels and hotel chains for sale, including many offmarket offers, but extends to urban hotels, country hotels and luxury boutique hotels as well as hotel projects and seafront building land.
Our clientele consists of a wide range of hotel chains, investment funds, private investors and family offices from all countries of the world.
